Is your honey 100% Pure, Natural and Raw?
Yes, our honey is 100% authentic and sourced directly from Yemen without adulteration. We only sell the best quality honey that we use within our own family and friends circle and feed to our own children. We want to therefore provide a safe platform that you can trust that your purchasing 100% natural products.
Are your bees fed any sugar?
One thing Honoor takes pride of, is there products. Our Honey is 100% pure and is sourced from the dessert valleys of Yemen where the beekeepers only use traditional methods. Our bees are not required to be fed with sugar water/syrup or anything of that type during harvesting. No chemicals are used either.
Is your honey mixed with any other type of honey?
No, we take pride to say that our Sidr or Samar honey is 100% pure and not mixed with anything else. We have built our brand based on trust and reputation.
Does Honey have an expiration date?
Natural, properly stored honey will never expire. In fact, archeologists found honey thousands of years old in ancient Egyptian tombs, and it was still good! If properly contained, real honey can last for a very, very long time. The National Honey Board also agrees. They say, “Honey stored in sealed containers can remains stable for decades and even centuries!”
Only natural, real honey undergoes these normal changes and can last for thousands of years. Even if honey goes through some natural changes like crystallisation or colour change, it doesn’t mean that it has gone bad or expired. It just means that you’ve got the real deal. Enjoy the natural magic of Honoor Honey.
Is it normal for Pure Honey to Crystallise?
Honey is the only food that will never spoil. However, honey will crystalize or granulate, a process that some people like to say, "My honey turned to sugar!" Well, rest assured, the honey didn't turn into anything. It's still honey. The natural, and eventual process of granulation is easily reversed with a source of heat, preferably at low temperatures. The warmth will return the granulated honey back into liquid honey. Store-brand honey, pasteurized for a longer shelf-life, gives naturally produced, local raw honey a bad name as store-brand honey seldom granulates. Unpasteurized honey and local raw honey will granulate faster, thus confusing customers.
