The sourab tree grows in the cold mountainous regions of Yemen, specifically in Ibb governorate, in addition to the mountains of Al-Hasha district in Al-Dhalea governorate, the Oud Mountains, and Wadi Khaban in Ibb governorate. This tree is known for producing nectar that bees collect to make the unique honey of Soreb.
Colour
Known to be called White Oud Honey , white is its natural colour at the start of the season and as it passes for 7-8 months to a year it becomes closer to golden.
